Vineyards
Our vineyards are located in three key Bulgarian micro regions: Khan Krum, Novi Pazar and Veliki Preslav. The regions’ terroir bears grape varieties of distinct character. This is an area perfectly suited to the growing of white grapes. The terrain is complete with rolling slopes and hillsides at an altitude of 200 – 280 m. Black forest soil and black carbonate soil are predominantly found in the region. This soil has a slightly grainy structure, especially when at a higher altitude, and is well aerated and warm with a РН of 6 – 6,5. The sum of the average temperature during the growing season is 3600-3700 С, which combined with a long warm autumn ensures there is enough sugar concentration at a high content of total titratable acidity and a РН of 3,0 – 3,2. In addition, the annual rainfall in the area is about 650 dm3/m2, which guarantees a good physiological humidity. Our vineyards grow grapes of some of the finest varieties like Traminer, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Blanc and Merlot amongst many others
